This was our return visit, the first was 16 years ago. Very exciting for us to catch up with Joan again, she was so welcoming and as before, gave us great recommendations for the local area (walks, pubs, areas to visit etc.). The accommodation is extremely comfortable, along with an excellent freshly prepared full breakfast, and in such beautiful gardens and surroundings. We just loved the forest walk down to Cresswell Crags, the museums and coffee shops. Let's hope we can return once again. - Chris R

Every time we are in the area we always make sure we include a stopover at Browns of Holbeck.From the beautiful, scenic grounds, to the delightfully appointed cosy rooms, this setting is a true delight.Our hostess, Joan, is very friendly and accommodating to all our needs.The fine dining English breakfast is also a true delight.
